The Royal Trakt Offices – situated on the prestigious Trakt Królewski [The Royal Route] – are one of the most unique office buildings in Warsaw, a pearl of 19th century architecture. The Royal Route was historically connecting three royal residences: the Royal Castle, the Łazienki Palace and Park, and Wilanów Palace. History

History

Once known as the Bernstein Palace, the building was erected on the corner of the streets Aleje Ujazdowskie and Wilcza between 1875 and 1876. During the remodelling works in 1909, elements of the then fashionable Art Nouveau style enriched the interiors and façade. The palace survived the turmoil of history relatively unscathed, and later owners made every effort to maintain its original character during further modernisations.

The brilliance and artistry of the past craftsmanship masters can be seen in every detail of the Royal Trakt Offices. Subtle ornaments adorn not only the interiors of the offices, but also the ceilings, sconces and balustrades on each floor both in the stairways and lift lobbies.
